Mnemba Island Tour

This is the trip where we will drive you out to matemwe village where we wil take the wooden boat to close mnemba island about 20 metres to the island and doing the snorkling with a lot of fishes.

The trip will include snorkeling equipments, mineral water,ice cold Soda and seasonal fruits.

It takes about 40 minutes to reach the Mnemba Island reef snorkeling spot from Nungwi. Mnemba Island is a privately owned island with access restricted to guests of the luxurious Mnemba Island resort.

We drop you off directly at the Mnemba Island reef, which lies a few hundred yards from Mnemba Island. Mnemba Island reef is a Marine Conservation area, where you can admire corals and tropical fish that many of us have only seen in an aquarium, sea turtles and dolphins.

Mnemba trip is considered as first priority to those who love to do snorkeling, the atoll is surrounded by the clear and turquoise waters with full of virgin coral reef, tropical fish like Arowana. Arowana are highly sought after fish, barbs, clown Loach, black ghost knife fish, betta, tunas, salmons, cichlids,cory catfish, angelish.

We depart from nungwi village by 9:00am ahead to a wonderful location which is always regarded as the snorkeling area, the activity will remain until lunch time, for those who feel short relaxing they may stay within a boat as longer as they may wish, while snorkeling is going on with our captain you will be offered a bottle of water and some fruits,

At 1pm is a right time to have special lunch which is colored by various types of sea foods relatively calamaris, tuna, barracudas, octopus, shrimps, prawns etc, soft drinks, rice and chapattis are also offered.

This a full day trip near the mnemba atoll which tourists may get essential opportunity to experience first class snorkeling adventure

We return to nungwi village just after lunch time and we normally arrive at the same point by 4pm.
